Prayers for Father Rick
As many of you know, Father Rick is scheduled to go in today, January 24th, for surgery.
Some of us would like to come and pray during the day for him. The Sanctuary will be open for that purpose from 6am to 6pm. There will be some guided prayers printed and available in the Narthex which you can take home with you.
During this time as a parish, we would like to focus in a prayerful way on Rick's good health and recovery.
Offering envelopes for 2020
are in the Narthex. Please pick yours up. If you expected envelopes and they are not there, please contact Doug Post
and they will be provided. Thanks!
Alpha is Underway!
Alpha week 3 successfully completed! It’s never too late to join – and if you have an occasional conflict and can’t make it, no problem! Come when you can!
As a reminder, Alpha is a series of conversations exploring the Christian faith – relaxed and informal. It’s intended for, and open to, everyone. Each session has 3 parts: Food (we share a meal together), Talk (a video looking at a question around faith) and Discussion (about the topic in small groups).
Date: Tuesday evenings at 7pm
Location: St. Mark’s Parish Hall
January 28th Topic: How Can I Have Faith?

Online Directory Updates
Have you seen our online directory recently? We have been doing some work to update the information and would appreciate your checking out your entry and letting us know if we need to make any edits.
We have many directory listings with no photos and would love to change that. You can either send the office a photo and we will upload it or we can take one here at St. Mark’s. And the same goes for those of you who would like an “updated” photo.
When the Magi followed the star to Bethlehem, they came and blessed the home of the Holy Family with this presence. Ever since, Christians have blessed homes on, or around, the Feast of the Epiphany, which always falls on January 6th. This January, we are going to try and bless every home in the parish – and, we’d love to bless the home of a neighbor, friend, or relative while we’re in your neighborhood.Start off your decade with a blessed home. Call or email the church office to let us know when in January would be a good time for Fr Rick to drop by.(908) 766-9058 or
We’ll next meet on Tuesday, February 11 at 12:30pm - 2:30pm in the large Sunday school classroom, with art teacher Linda Quinn. Feel free to stay later to paint some more. It’s fun, relaxing, and we’re a friendly group, come join us.
