St Mark’s will be joining up with St. Luke’s in Gladstone for a virtual Alpha. This unique program combines video learning with meaningful discussion about our Christian faith. You can do it all from the comfort of your home! We welcome you to see it for yourself - we meet on Tuesday. We encourage you to register in advance so that you receive the Zoom link.

You can help by making a monetary donation by
This will allow the staff to purchase much needed food to deal with the increase in demand at their door and reduce the need for in-person contact during this time. Thank you!
Sunday School News - CANSTRUCTION
We will be starting our first quarter Family project in February to coincide with lent which starts early this year. Following Jesus’ teachings to Feed the Hungry, we will hold our first ever CANSTRUCTION event. Rules and timelines will be coming soon. Canstruction is building a sculpture from cans of food (
click here to see Google images of some amazing creations
). You can use as many cans as you like to build a structure of your choosing and put it on display for all to see in the church hall for holy week. (We will also post the pics right here in the Little Weekly)
Families or Covid Pods who want to participate can sign up for a build time in the parish hall. All cans of food will be donated to our local food pantries. Start thinking of what you want to build and get those cans ready! Rules and sign up will be coming out soon.
Not interested in building? You can donate a case of cans for the building teams to use, just drop them off at the church anytime.
Lets have some fun while following Jesus.
You can build anything!
Mindfulness & More
Hello St. Mark’s friends. I’m Christine, parishioner, holistic health coach, and yoga teacher (right here in our own parish hall). If you are interested in taking a yoga class, reach out to me or the church office.
Did you know I offer Midday Mindfulness each Thursday on the St Mark’s Facebook page? Stop by and check it out! This past visit, we explored one idea on how to manage feelings of overwhelm and gave a gentle stretch to our spines and last week we discovered stress relief and mindfulness options we can use in the car. It’s a 15-minute investment that can yield greater peace, release tension, and maybe even make you smile. Recordings are also available on our website and YouTube.

BERNARDS TOWNSHIP HEALTH DEPARTMENT
COVID-19 VACCINATION CLINIC VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
The Bernards Township Health Department (BTHD) has been working for months on becoming a COVID-19 vaccine site. We are pleased to inform you that last week the health department was approved as a small vaccination site. At this time, we are currently not scheduling appointments because we were informed by the New Jersey State Health Department that due to a vaccine shortage we cannot place orders for the vaccine. While we are disappointed, as soon as we can order vaccine and schedule appointments, residents will be able to sign up. We are anticipating a March start date for clinics. Please do not call the office as we are overwhelmed with calls. All information will be posted on www.bernardshealth.org and sent out via RAVE alerts under "Emergent Public Health Alerts”.
Both medical and non-medical volunteers over the age of 18 are needed. Possible tasks include giving injections (if qualified), directing crowds, manning a help desk, and registering participants. If you are interested in volunteering, please email your name and phone number to firstname.lastname@example.org
